It’s not really about supper.
Colfax Supper Club is a band formed of a rotating cast of artists who gather together in a special location for a short time, with no pre-written material, to see what we can write and record in the short time we’re together. The location and the cast of characters are always different, and so is the creative process. Our first EP, Alpine, was written and recorded in a log cabin in the Rocky Mountains over the course of 3 days. Our follow up, Left in Long Island, was written and recorded over the course of a weekend in our home studio in Denver. I played drums, wrote lyrics, co-produced, and shot the album art for both projects on 35mm Kodak Portra 400 film with a Contax G1.
