Remakes are never better than the original…
But, sometimes, they’re still worth a watch. I’ve never really wondered what would have happened if someone had walked in on Tom Cruise in his underwear during that iconic “Risky Business” dance scene, and I’ll continue not to because the new GPS-update to the Domino’s Tracker helps make sure you don’t get caught with your pants down.
We spent weeks combing through every frame of the scene to make sure we didn’t miss a detail in our homage to this classic. We matched the movie’s color, researched the film stock used to recreate the grain, and even brought back Miles Dalby (Curtis Armstrong) for a cameo. We also created a 2:47 shot-for-shot remake of the entire scene too, which will never see the light of day for legal reasons. Why would I tell you that if you can’t see it? Because I’m bitter about it, that’s why.
